The snake is an elegant figure in Eastern mythology, graceful and cool as well as highly respected. This blend seeks to capture the spirit of the cobra in the pose of Cobra 1 where you rise up from the floor from a face down position and put no weight on your hands. You use your back to lift your head and chest. It is a strengthening pose, a back wash of frankincense, a good deal of indigo musk, a drop of thyme in it. It's a heady combination and one which is a bit hypnotic, like the cobra.

I’m calling this a “pleasant incense.” It’s not head shoppy. Inoffensive, office appropriate, and yeah, pleasant. I’m letting it age a good long while because I think this is a scent that will deepen and expand with age.
