“They” say that we are going to get some real rain today. I hope “they” are right. I have not seen real H2O fall from the sky for a very long time. Actually, there was a bit Friday but it only blasted for about 10 minutes and that was that.

The Hummingbirds are feeding in a frenzy now. They are getting ready for their long flight to Mexico, thousands of miles these tiny birds fly every year. They return in the late spring. We get the ruby throated variety.

Last week I was in exercise class. We have a great view of a highway with a huge expanse of sky to watch as we dance and cavort. When I turned to get a drink, there was a convoy of Canadian geese on their way absolute South. The highway runs North-South and the geese were using it as a, well, highway. Sad to see them go knowing that winter is coming but spring wouldn’t be so exciting without it.
