Serqet is one of the beautiful goddesses represented on each of the 4 corners of King Tutankhamen's tomb. A golden musk is put playfully together with a zest of Meyer Lemon, a sharp drop of crystal musk and a distant hint of pink peppercorn. An enchanting and sexy yet comforting blend, an original presentation of the golden musk in a more refined way. A hint of green tea rounds out the presentation of Serqet, as charming as the statue which stood guard for thousands of years over the Boy King. Spicy and resinous.

Upon first sniff my eyes rolled back, swear to god. Beautiful lemony musk that stays very soft and inoffensive. Stays close, but I like it that way.

I put this on the back of my left hand without looking at the notes first, and my very first thought was, “Oh, no, this smells like an expensive hotel soap.” But I had only a tiny drop on, so I added more to the back of my hand and gave it a few seconds. The hotel soap is gone. There’s a hint of cinnamon mixed in with a healthy splash of citrus – almost neroli – and maybe an herb? (All this was without looking at the notes.) Then I checked the notes. Musk, pink peppercorn, Meyer Lemon, and yes, absolutely, the green tea is probably what I’m reading as slightly herbal. Spicy lemony green tea and I’m here for it! This is a beautiful scent and likely office appropriate. I can’t imagine anyone objecting to this scent, and if you do well with citrusy / tea notes, your skin chemistry may elevate this to sublime.
