The Sample Pack is a fantastic way to explore Possets new EDP’s. I chose Madame X, Beatrice, and Black Venus. I’m more of an EDP kind of gal so I’m ecstatic that they’ve introduced these (though their oils are wonderful, as well). I will be purchasing FS of both Beatrice and Black Venus!

I tried all 6 EDP scents currently offered because I already had tried and liked everything except Bear Lake Shake – Utah in oil format, which I smelled in this sample pack for the first time.
I think Possets overall did a really good job of translating their oil based scents into the EDP format. The sprayers came with a cap, are well made and did not spurt or sputter, which was nice. They do give quite a generous spray so aim with intention at an appropriate distance.
Like most EDP formats, the top note is a lot stronger than in the oil version and the sillage is much bolder. Silver Narcissus, for example, is far grassier in the open in EDP, and it takes a good hour for the silver note to really appear much at all.
Drydown from wet was quick, and the fragrance left a bit of a clear shiny patch on my arm where it was sprayed. Longevity was excellent at 6+ hours for all scents except for Beatrice which lasted nearly 8 hours before fading away.
This sample pack is an amazing deal for the chance to experience well crafted scents in this format. I hope Possets will expand the list of scents they offer to include some of my other Permanent Blend favorites, as well as some of the popular Retour scents if possible.
