Cri de Coeur (Cry of the Heart) Perfume Oil

$20.00$85.00

This fragrance is an absolute stunner, a true Posset with ample lashings of Vanilla, nougat, coconut, sweet musk, tobacco flower, swirling cotton, a drop of nag champa, chypre, black musk, and sugar cane. There is the essence of a magnificent dragon's blood, a small amount of lime, and lime blossom. This is quite a complex beauty. Very sweet without being totally foody, long-lasting, and strong.

This, along with a sample pack, was the first Possets perfume oil I had ever purchased. As soon as I smelled it, I was completely hooked. This is without a doubt the best smelling thing, perfume or otherwise, that I have ever smelled. The scent lingers all day and stays in my hat and scarf, I jut love it. It even makes me think of tropical islands and warm places, which is great because I am currently freezing due to a freakish winter. I cannot recommend this enough and I hope it becomes part of the permanent line up.

I first purchased this several years ago, and it has become a favorite. The coconut is forward, without being overwhelming or too sweet. Balanced with a light muskiness and just a hint of something fresh and green. I don’t have the perfumeries vocabulary to be able to describe it like an expert was. I can only say that it is not too light, not too coconutty, beautifully balanced. Very calming, but also a little seductive as well. I hope this one never gets discontinued! Marcia Peterson

I received a free sample of Cri de Coeur in my latest order and I’m very glad I did! This scent is absolutely lovely and I’ll definitely order a full size (putting it on my wishlist now!) in the future. I think what attracted me to the scent the most are the notes of Nag Champa, Vetiver, and Musk. So beautiful.

Heady without being overpowering, and uniquely lovely!

Sweet spices. Toffee, nutmeg, toasted sugar cane, creamy musk. A little powdery incense. I find it rather overwhelmingly sweet at first, clinging and cloying. Dark sticky smiles over a small pale bouquet. Takes about an hour to fade down into a more manageable cool-sweet moss with nutmeg and vanilla.
