Salmon P. Chase is the man on an American $10,000 bill. He is buried in Cincinnati’s Spring Grove Cemetery, in one of the loveliest spots there. He was Abraham Lincoln’s Secretary of the Treasury, and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. He had a reputation for being an austere man, not very friendly but very smart. He is flanked by his daughter and wife as he overlooks the beautiful lake in the high rent district of the cemetery. A dry masculine and memorable scent featuring a smooth yellow amber, bay, bay wood, a drop of tobacco flower, a very tiny amount of lavender. Dry, very dry, grown up, unisex, prosperous, and business like.
