I love the Contemporary Art Museum in Cincinnati, and we are having a wonderful show there http://bit.ly/cD6QcK. Shepard Fairey is in town to kick off his show and I am definitely going down there to see it. He put up murals in various spots in town, and I love them. He did the “Obey” image which got plastered about several years ago and I think it’s a classic. His work reminds me of a synthesis of: Andy Warhol, Wayne Thibaud, and Roy Lichtenstein and those are three of my favorite artists (in reverse order). They just had something to say, and it gets louder every year. So, please take a look at the link. It’s very amusing.
